Blu Opens For Business
Water Street is Restaurant Row again, with the new eatery joining Nautika and The Harbourside.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, Blu looked almost ready. But barware was still coming out of boxes and surfaces were still being wiped down.
"You going to open up tonight?" Glenn Chelo was asked. Chelo owns the former Twenty Water Street restaurant with his brother. "Yeah, in about an hour," he replied.
By 9 p.m. Thursday, patrons were sitting at two of the three bars, lights with gas flames were flickering, and several diners were eating, including Chelo.

"We made it," he said.
They will feature Steve Smith and the Nakeds Friday night, joining both Nautika and The Harbourside in featuring live music.
