EAST GREENWICH, RI — On Tuesday, East Greenwich residents will head to the polls to answer two bond questions for the town. Here's a look at everything you need to know ahead of election day.

For this election, there will only be one polling place, the East Greenwich Board of Canvassers said. All voters must vote at Swift Community Center at 121 Peirce St. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

This year's ballot has two local bond questions. The first concerns a $5 million bond for school improvements across the district.

"Proposed projects improve the safety and security of our school buildings, promote high student performance and achievement by creating environments more amenable and conducive to learning," the school committee said in a factsheet about the bond.

The second question, if approved, would provide the town with $4.5 million in bonds for improvements to the town's sewer infrastructure, including construction, equipment, extension, replacement, extension and repairs of lines, facilities and more.
