EGHS Talent Show, Chamber Hosts Ladies Night, Final Dance At Cole

The is co-sponsoring a special “Ladies’ Night Out” that really aims to pamper the fairer sex tonight.

The event includes mini-sessions with several health, wellness and beauty professionals such as massage, reiki, reflexology, eyebrow threading, facial care and more. Attendees will also be able to shop with local vendors and enjoy dance and movement presentations. An assortment of hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening.

Where/When: Quidnessett Country Club, 950 North Quidnessett Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852; Thursday, 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Pricing: $40 in advance, $45 at the door

Why Go: The school’s Acting Class is proud to showcase some of our best budding local talent.

Pricing: $10 at the door; A portion of the proceeds benefit the parent advocacy group, PAL.

Why Go: It’s your chance to win live and silent auctions items such as gift certificates to local merchants, beach houses, Red Sox tickets, opera tickets, decorating, handyman, pet sitting and computer tech services, meals for a month, a golf outing, spa baskets, a day in Newport package, Wii Mario Kart bundle, birthday parties, Christmas items, quilt, cross stitch, crochet items, an oven and range, , gardeners packages, air hockey table, grandfather clock, and more.

Pricing: Free; All Proceeds go to support the Volunteers in Mission trip where youths build and repair homes for those in need.

Why Go: The last dance at the old school before moving into the new building next month is sure to be bittersweet for Cole students, but the promise of bigger and better things await.

Where/When: 1st Avenue & Main Street in the old Sunoco Gas Station Parking Lot; Saturday (weather permitting), 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: It’s your last chance to buy your favorite Girl Scout Cookies this year. Remember, Thin Mints taste even better when they’re frozen!
