Elite Physical Therapy Opens on South County Trail

Michael A. Nula, DPT, has opened an office in East Greenwich, which is his fifth location. The new facility is on the top floor of the South County Hospital offices at 3461 South County Trail.

Nula and his staff welcomed clients and friends following a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon.

A resident of East Greenwich, he says that when he moved here four years ago he knew he wanted to open a local office.

Signage details are still being worked out with the town, but existing clients in the community and connections with local physicians are generating traffic and more promotion is in the works.

In response to a question about the growth in the field of physicial therapy Nula said there are a couple of reasons:  The baby boomers are needing help and society is getting tired of chasing symptoms and popping pills as a solution and wants to get to the root of their problems.

He has no active plans for additional offices, but said he is always open to opportunities.
