Enjoy Bluegrass on Academy Field Grass in EG this Thursday

Lizzie James and the Greystone Rail will be bringing traditional bluegrass and modern "newgrass" for this week's summer concert.

Bluegrass fans will want to bring a blanket to spread out on the grass at Academy Field this Thursday.

The fourth summer concert hosted by the East Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department will feature Lizzie James and the Greystone Rail.

They’re a a four-piece band that blends traditional bluegrass with modern β€œnewgrass” and β€œthey put their own spin on others,” the recreation department said in a release. β€œThey have a lot of fun at their shows and so does the audience.”
