Art Show Opening Reception "Beyond Color: New Works by Liz Halloran and Mike Bryce"

On April 15, 2011 from 5-8pm, there will be an Opening Reception for
the art show "Beyond Color:  New Works by Liz Halloran and Mike Bryce"
at Crestar Picture Framing, 51 Liberty Street, East Greenwich, RI
02818.  It will be an evening of fine art, live music by
singer/songwriter Kate Halloran, food, and wine.  The show will be on
display from April 15th thru May 13th.

Liz Halloran, of Warwick, R.I., is a painter and an art teacher.  Her
most recent oil paintings reflect a trip to France where she visited
the locations where Vincent Van Gogh and other 19th Century artists
painted. With this series of paintings, she tried to capture the
timelessness of these places in a 21st Century impressionistic style.

Mike Bryce, of Bryce Studio located in the Hope Artiste Village in
Pawtucket, R.I., is known for his vibrant oil and acrylic paintings
which feature local landscapes, seascapes,  and many Rhode Island
landmarks.
