The children within the choir are between the ages of 8 and 16 years and have been rescued from horrific situations and many were orphans. They have been rescued and now live at Kampala Children's Centre — a community of homes, a school, a farm, youth center, workshop and other resources among which these children live, learn and thrive. Their lives have been transformed and now these children sing a new song, one of hope, restoration, freedom and joy and they are bringing it on tour!
During their performances, the children will share their dreams and stories of hope though a lively mix of contemporary and traditional African songs, drumming and dances. Come and hear the inspiring sound of lives that have been given a new hope and a new start.
