West Bay, RI – During the weekend of October 22-23, twenty-two artists residing in the West Bay of Rhode Island will participate in the third annual West Bay Open Studios Tour. The tour is free and self-guided, meandering through the neighboring coastal towns of East Greenwich, Warwick, and North Kingstown. This is a once a year opportunity to meet the artists in their studios and purchase their art.
An array of art genres will be on display including: oil, pastel, watercolor, calligraphy, sculpture, pottery, photography, tapestry, stained glass, fused glass, and mixed media. Participating North Kingstown artists include: Nina Ackmann, Tiffany Adams, Nancy Chapman, Lynn Martin, Debbie Ferrazzoli, Michele Leavitt, Ken MacDonald, Claire Marschak, Stephanie Marzella, Lorena Pugh (Purebred Editions), Harry Spring, Kurt VanDexter, and . East Greenwich artists are: Janet Austin, Marjorie Ball, Alice Benvie Gebhart, Lee Bergwall Hanks, Carole Berren, Nancy Gaucher-Thomas, Jane Parillo (Scribe). In Warwick, the artists are: Tammie Dickerman (Wallflower Studio), Carol Shelton, and Sharon Eisman.
