Gee Wins Dist. 35 Senate Primary
Mark W. Gee handily won the Republican primary Tuesday with a margin of 68 to 31 percent.

East Greenwich Town Councilor Mark Watkins Gee emerged victorious in the Senate District 35 Republican primary Tuesday night.
Gree handily defeated Kim Page with a 68.6 to 31.4 percent margin, garnering 1,015 votes to Page’s 464.
Page had 15 more votes than Gee in the North Kingstown precincts but Gee’s overwhelming 8 to 2 margin in East Greenwich sealed his victory.

Dist. 35, which encompasses North Kingstown, East Greenwich, Narragansett and South Kingstown, has been represented by Dawson Hodgson, who is the lone Republican on the ballot running for Attorney General.
