Lehoullier Withdraws from School Committee Race
The candidate said her professional commitments have increased recently.

Citing increased professional commitments, Kristin Lehoullier has withdrawn her name from the race for School Committee.
In a post on the East Greenwich Parents for Excellence Facebook page, Lehoullier said she did not feel she’d have the capacity to do the job as a School Committee member if she were elected.
“It was a hard decision to make, but temporary - I will reconsider for the next election cycle in 2 year,” she said.

“I truly believe that you will continue be part of this effort that makes EG schools better,” said Yan Sun, another political newcomer who decided to run for School Committee. “Even if you withdrew this year, we still work together, before and after you are elected two years later.”
