Main Street Assoc. Holds Logo Contest

The winner will receive a $250 gift certificate to the Main Street business of his or her choice.

The Main Street Association (MSA) of East Greenwich has announced a contest to design a logo for its new nonprofit organization.

Formerly known as the East Greenwich Downtown Planning Initiative (EGDPI), a town subcommittee of the Planning Board, the MSA is in the process of becoming an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The EGDPI/MSA is the organization responsible for the implementation of the East Greenwich Farmer’s Market, town kiosks, visitor’s guide, outdoor movies, Hill & Harbour Turkey Trot 5K, as well as other initiatives.

The MSA is looking for a logo that will convey the spirit of East Greenwich and the Main Street Association, whose mission is “to enhance living in the Town of East Greenwich, including the improvement of Main Street and its surrounding areas.”
