The Italian restaurant tops out with 100 votes; Fat Belly's comes in second with 85.
With more than 300 votes cast, the winner is in for best fries in East Greenwich: , with 100 votes or 31 percent of the total. came in second with a very respectable 85 votes or 26 percent of votes cast. Those two were far and away the most popular spots for fries.
Third in the poll was down on South County Trail, which got 28 votes. , located in the Dave’s plaza, got 21 votes. came in fifth with 17 votes.
"We are honored to have the best fries in East Greenwich and appreciate all the votes," wrote Eric Labelle, chef at Ritrovo. And what makes their fries — both regular and sweet potato — so good? "The real secret to our french fries is simply just seasoning! The regular and sweet potato fries have their own special seasoning and are always seasoned to order!" he said.
