Supporting a Worthy Cause

Brightview Commons hosts first annual Classic Car Show on Saturday, July 30 from 9:30am - 1:00pm to benefit RI Alzheimer's Association.

“Because residents, families and associates are all impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, the entire Brightview Commons community is involved,” explains Hollie Moone, Vibrant Living Director.

On Saturday, July 30th, Brightview Commons is hosting its first annual Classic Car Show at the community – located at 57 Grandeville Court in Wakefield.

The event will raise funds and raise awareness for a worthy cause: proceeds benefit the Rhode Island Alzheimer’s Association.

“Bringing the community together to support the Alzheimer’s Association is important to us,” says Executive Director, Darlene Lepore Lema. “It will also be a great day of camaraderie and fun.”

“Giving back is meaningful and allows everyone to support our local Alzheimer’s Association,” adds Lori DeVona, Wellspring Village Director. “It also demonstrates our support for residents who reside in our dedicated memory care neighborhood. As a community of people sharing a common commitment, we want to contribute and make a difference in the lives of others.”

Brightview Commons features Independent Living, Assisted Living as well as a Dementia Care option in Brightview’s specialized program and environment for people living with dementia and other forms of memory impairment, known as Wellspring Village®.
