Child Hit By Car In Driveway At East Providence Home
Police said a family member accidentally struck the child, who was sent to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A child was struck by a car in a driveway in East Providence on Tuesday, according to police.
Police told NBC 10 a family member accidentally hit a child around 5:30 p.m., in the Rumford section of the city. Emergency officials brought the child to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.
The extent of the child's injuries was not immediately made clear. Patch reached out to East Providence police and will update this story when we know more.
