Missing kayaker's body found in water near Providence's Gano Park (providencejournal.com) — A missing kayaker who launched from Providence's Gano Park was found dead Sunday, with a barge captain bringing the body to a dock on the East Providence side of the Seekonk River. Police report no immediate signs of foul play, and the state medical examiner is investigating the circumstances surrounding the 54-year-old man's death.
