Police arrested Christensen at his house last week and he is currently out on bail pending a Sept. 9 appearance in Sixth Division District Court for a prearraignment disposition conference.

“Any children who had contact with him—we are asking that the parents do contact us and give us the opportunity to speak with them or speak with your child,” East Providence Police Det. Michael Spremulli told ABC6. “If you find that something may have happened that was inappropriate to contact us immediately.”

It’s not the first time Christensen has faced charges for pedophilic tendencies. In 2006, according to court records, he was charged with indecent solicitation of a child. That case was ultimately dismissed about a year after his first court appearance during which he pleaded not guilty. It never went to trial.
