Wiffle ball has officially left the back yard. Amazing stadiums, professional athletes, and all-day ball games were once reserved for the big leagues, but SLAMDiabetes Wiffle ball tournaments are bringing these elements to cities around the country.

Games in SLAMDiabetes’ tournaments are played in patented, custom-designed Wiffle ball stadiums—1/4 scale replicas of Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium—meaning you don’t have to be drafted to the majors to jack a homer over the Green Monster.

During the Rhode Island Classic eight to ten teams will compete for bragging rights while raising public awareness about Type 1 Diabetes, funding camp scholarships for T1D kids, and supporting educational initiatives and research for a cure.

In addition to the Tournament Championship, there will be a Home Run Derby open for anyone to join, special games for kids, delicious food from community vendors, raffles, opening ceremonies, and special guests. Admission is free.
