• Exeter man sentenced to more than 4 years in prison for soliciting minor (coastalabc.com) — An Exeter resident has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison after a jury convicted him of indecently soliciting a minor outside a Wakefield business in 2022. The Washington County Superior Court sentence also includes probation, sex-offender registration, and strict no-contact and workplace restrictions, following an investigation led by South Kingstown police and state prosecutors.
