South Kingstown Hit With Ghost Gun And Other Firearm Charges: Cops
The South Kingstown man was arrested following a disturbance at a residence in Exeter, police said.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A South Kingstown man was arrested on a ghost gun charge as well as other firearm-related offenses, police said.
Andrew Hammond, 34, was arrested shortly after 4 a.m. Friday on charges of possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited, the manufacture, sale, purchase, or possession of a ghost gun, modification of a semi-automatic weapon, and large capacity feeding devices prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hammond's "arrest was the result of an investigation into a disturbance" at a residence on Mail Road in Exeter, the release said.

Hammond was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and held pending a morning arraignment, according to the release.
