Build Something Cool: Marian J. Mohr Library (the new one) hosts its first LEGO Club today from 5 to 7 p.m. Kids from 6 to 12 are invited; no registration required.
Paint Something Colorful: From 9 a.m. to noon, Roger Williams Park Zoo offers Art in the Park, with instruction in watercolors after a lovely walk in the botanical gardens. Registration fee is $30, $25 for Zoo members. Materials not included — follow the link above to download the list and registration form. While you're there, you can also enter your ideas for the Zoo's "Name the Penguins" contest.
