Roll Up Your Sleeve: Today's blood drive is brought to you by St. Raphael's Academy in Pawtucket. Show the kids you're not afraid and give a pint of your best red stuff. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. — maybe you can feast on some great cafeteria grub (and maybe it's a good thing there are first aid-trained nurses there).

When You Have A Little To Say: As the story goes, the inventor came up with the idea while at church. On this date in 1980, Post-It (TM) notes went on sale for the first time. (from brainyhistory.com)
