- Pow! Science Presents: Block Party for kids ages 5 and up starting at 11 a.m. Teams of two will try to solve problem-solving tasks using Citiblocs building blocks. Registration is required; call 231-4980 x15 to register.
- Snowflake spectacular from 1 to 2 p.m. Ages 5 and up. Discover six types of snow crystals and make snowflake-themed craft projects.
- Author Series: Raymond Carver at 7 p.m. Rhode Island College professor Thomas Cobb (author of Crazy Heart) will discuss Carver's life and work in the Reading Room.
Give A Pint: Save the cappuccino until after you donate, though — the Dunkin' Donuts at 2738 Hartford Ave. will host the Rhode Island Blood Center Bloodmobile from 3 to 7 p.m. today.
Johnston Tea Party: The Johnston Tea Party is scheduled to meet at Ribs & Co., 1383 Atwood Ave., tonight at 7 p.m.
