Call Ahead: Due to last week's closure of the children's room at , there was a little uncertainty on the scheduled story hour for today. Call the library at 231-4980 to check. Also, remember that March 31 is the last day that the "old" library building will be open. We'll be posting further information about how to check out books and where to return them, plus listings of events and activities at area libraries so you don't miss your storytime fix.

Celebrating Women's History: Rhode Island Secretary of State Ralph Mollis (who should be able to find his way, since he was Mayor of North Providence) is scheduled to visit this morning at 9:15 to exhibit the original 1920 state law that gave women the right to vote. He'll also be showing Hillary Clinton's announcement that she'd run in the 2008 primary — and JohnstonPatch will be there.
