Scare Them Straight: That's the idea behind "Zero Fatalities," a program run by the Johnston Police Department. This morning at 9, students from the high school are scheduled to travel to the Adult Correctional Institutions to meet inmates who were involved in alcohol-related crimes. With senior prom coming up May 27, it's a timely message.

Mohr And Mohr: Another active day at Mohr Library today:

  • Story time for 3- to 5-year olds at 10:30 a.m.
  • Games for middle and high school students from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Readers' Lair for students in grades 6 to 12 at 6:30 p.m.
