Johnston Man Charged With Intending To Deliver Cocaine: Cops

JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston man was charged with intending to deliver cocaine, police said.

John Lenis, 39, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking task force about 2:30 p.m. Sept. 22, the state police said in a media release.

"The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation," the release said.

Lenis was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions, according to the release.
