Bright Night Providence is a New Year's Eve Celebration throughout downtown Providence run by a group of local artists who took over the original event, First Night Providence, in 2003.
The festival will feature 140 performers in more than 26 venues throughout Providence along with a Water Fire, fireworks and an Opening Ceremony at the downtown Skating Center. The headlining act act will be BAMBOUK, a vaudeville-type show featuring juggling, magic and physical comedy performed by two "elegantly dressed" bald men in clown noses.
