Fern Fossil Forays

Join the Museum of Natural History today for Fern Fossil Forays.

You will visit a beach near the old Portsmouth coal mines where you will find plant fossils such as Pecopteris, Neuropteris, Lepidodendron, and Annularia.  Please dress appropriately as you will be digging.  Bring your hammers, chisels, and old clothes.

Adults: $10.00            Families: $15.00 

(No one under age 7 permitted. No pets are allowed.)

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.   Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
