("Steampunk," a genre of science fiction literature and film, demonstrates a fusion of futuristic and Victorian-era design. It originated out of classics like Frankenstein and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and was seen in TV and film in "Wild Wild West" or, more recently, "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." We have a large number of "steampunk" books in our collection for young adults. Some will be on display and available for checkout.)
