Seussational! at Providence Children's Museum

In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, the Providence Children's Museum is hosting a "wonderfully wacky weekend-long extravaganza full of crazy characters and Seussational activities!"  There will be crazy characters and all sorts of "Seussational" activities including:

  • Making playful Seussical stick puppets and adding them to a mural of Seuss-inspired scenes
  • Decorating and wearing Cat in the Hat chapeaus and trying on Seuss-style tails
  • Making "Seussian" costumes using glasses with beaks, scarves, feather boas, tulle and other imagination-inspiring items
  • Searching high and low and doing some super sleuthing in a Seuss-themed hunt
  • And,  snuggling up in the nook for a look at some books – best-loved Seuss stories and most memorable characters

This program is free with Museum admission of $8.50 per person and is recommended for children ages 3 - 11.
