The Zoo is seeking volunteer "citizen scientists" to join its FrogWatch USA program. Just attend one of the Zoo's training sessions and learn how to help monitor a local amphibian habitat like a nearby pond or lake. You'll be helping the Zoo collect data once a week for about 15 minutes.
Training sessions are being held at the Zoo on:
March 24th from 6-8 p.m.
April 16th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Amphibian species are declining in high numbers all over the world. The data FrogWatch volunteers collect will help conservationists keep tabs on the amphibian population in New England and react if a decline is noticed.

A small materials fee of $10.00 will be charged per participating household to cover training materials (a household covers up to 2 adults, and up to two children per adult).
