EVENT OF THE DAY: Art Master Class
Mohr Library's Young Adult Afterschool Program features instruction on how to paint like Claude Monet at 2:30 p.m.
On this date in 1840, the French Impressionist artist Claude Monet was born — and Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library is honoring the date with an afterschool art program for students in grades 6 through 12 at 2:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to use watercolors to create their own masterpieces in the style of Monet's work (check out a great collection of his art on the WebMuseum website).
