Family Fun Day: Johnston Police IBPO Local 307 hosts its annual Family Fun Day at Johnston Memorial Park on June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $10; free for kids 12 and younger.

Build  Something: Lowe's Home Improvement in North Providence hosts a Build and Grow workshop for kids on June 11 at 10 a.m. Kids get an apron, goggles, a theme patch, and, of course, a completed project to take home.

Crafts At Mohr: Marian J. Mohr Library is scheduled to host Drop-In Crafts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 11. Stay in the air-conditioned comfort and create a masterpiece.

Explorers Event: The Johnston Police Explorers Program is set to host its first annual Car and Bike Show at Memorial Park on June 12. Registration for vehicles is $15 and donation of a canned good for the Rhode Island Food Bank. Admission is free.
