Grab & Go — Great Places To Take The Kids

At Mohr Library: Drop-in crafts on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for kids older than 3 years old. Supplies provided; creativity required.
Home Depot: The home improvement store at 100 Stone Hill Road hosts a Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon. This month, the project is building a replica of the #20 Home Depot NASCAR racer. (Bonus points if you know who drives it.) Free.
Providence Children's Museum: Save on admission by getting a pass from Mohr or another nearby library; it will drop your cost to $2 each (instead of $8.50). And if you're a member of Neighborhood Health Plan, admission is free.

- On Friday, the museum hosts Explorers' Studio from 10 a.m. to noon for kids ages 3 to 6.
- Saturday and Sunday are Seussational Days, celebrating the life and work of Dr. Seuss. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, for kids 3 to 11 years old.
Museum of Natural History, Providence: Located in Roger Williams Park, the Museum recently unveiled "Alien Worlds," an exhibit highlighting the new planets and other objects foud in our nearby galaxy. Tickets are $5 for adults and kids over 7, children 4 to 7 are $4; sorry, no admission for kids under 4.
