This weekend, you can check out the new Harry Potter movie, followed by a full lighting of Waterfire.

This weekend provides a great opportunity for you to experience the 80s (again), enjoy a potential blockbuster, or check out a mime playing near fire. How can you beat that?
- The final chapter in the series opens this Friday. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 has been eagerly awaited since Part 1's release. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, and Helena Bonham Carter. For information on movie times and tickets, visit Moviefone.com.
- The Pawtucket Red Sox are playing a home series against Durham this weekend. The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 6:05 on Saturday, and 1:05 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets start at $5 for children and seniors, and $7 for adults.
- Ben Hague and Martin Montana (no relation to Hannah) visit the RI Comedy Connection this Saturday this Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
- For all you music fans who don't like to spend a lot, you should check out Lupo's this Friday Night. Sideshow, A faylene Sky, Lions Lions, Auburn, Patterns of Myra, and Longshot will perform, and tickets are just $10 for the 8 p.m. show.
- Fast Times, a 1980's cover band, visits The Lighthouse at Twin River for a free show this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. The band will be in full costume, so if you tease your hair up really high and have pins all over your jacket, everyone will just think your one of the performers. For the first time in 20 years, you'll fit in.
- Check out LOL Thursdays at Catch A Rising star. For just $10, you can check out several local comedians performing short sets. The laughs start at 7:30 p.m.
- Last, but not least, there is a full lighting of Waterfire this Saturday night. Some of the performances include Chinese Dragon Dancing, The Rhode Island Kung Fu Club, Chinese singers, Spogga the Fire Dancer, Mime artist Michael Grando, and music by Magnolia and Planet Zydeco.
