Johnston resident Mike Murray recently made radio and TV appearances to talk about regaining his hearing, and to preview last week's "Comedy & Cuisine" fundraiser at Johnston High School.

Johnston's own "Deaf Comic," Mike Murray, was interviewed by NBC10's Health Check reporter Barbara Morse-Silva last week, and a week earlier, by NBC10's Gene Valicenti on a radio program.
In both interviews, Murray described his transformation from non-hearing to "the hearing world," thanks to his cochlear implants. He also gave a preview for the second annual PTSO's , which was held on Mar. 30.
