Kids' Favorites Fridays! Grades 1-5 @ Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library

Ms. Michelle and Ms. Carlene will host a series of programs held on the third Friday of the month. The series will focus on some of the most beloved children’s books old and new! We will introduce the children to other books by the same author and some “read-a-likes”. Parents may have read some of these books when they were young and now may want to share that magic with their child! Please Register. 231-4980 x5.

October 17th at 4:30 pm, join us to celebrate the book, Ramona by Beverly Cleary. We will make our own commercials and create imaginary animals in the spirit of Ramona. Take a personality quiz to see if you are a “Ramona” or “Beezus”, do a puzzle and make a door knob hanger. Other books from this author will be available for check out!

November 21st at 4:30 pm, join us to celebrate the book, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. We will make an art project of Charlotte and her web and other activities.

December 19th at 4:30 pm, join us to celebrate the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Make a Handkerchief doll to keep or give as a gift. We will have a sing-a-long with some of the most popular folk songs of Laura Ingalls’s world and time and other activities.
