Johnston unveils new elementary bus routes to take effect Monday (turnto10.com) — Johnston families should expect new elementary school bus routes starting Monday after last week's delays left some students getting home as late as 7 p.m. Johnston Elementary and Winsor Hill will now have separate, dedicated buses, while high school and middle school routes remain combined, and parents can track buses through the Zm Transportation app.

Stay Out Of These 2 Rhode Island Reservoirs, State Says (patch.com) — State health and environmental officials are warning residents to avoid Oak Swamp Reservoir in Johnston because harmful algae has made swimming, fishing, and even boating unsafe.
