Cumberland Man Charged With Illegal Dumping In Lincoln: Cops

Police identified the Lincoln dumper as a Cumberland man.

LINCOLN, RI — The Lincoln police say they have tracked down the man caught on video dumping bags of garbage from the back of his pickup.

Patrol officers and detectives launched an investigation of the illegal dumping along Moshassuck Valley Industrial Highway on Thursday, the police department said in a media release.

"Surveillance footage captured the vehicle responsible along with one male suspect," the release said.

The video showed a man tossing 10 bags of garbage from the back of his pickup truck down to the road.

"With the assistance of Central Falls, Cumberland and Pawtucket Police, Lincoln Police were able t o identify the male suspect as Carlos Molina Munera, age 44, out of Cumberland," the release said.

Molina Munera's vehicle was located and stopped outside his residence, and he was taken into custody on charges of
illegal dumping, according to the release.
