Lincoln Man Charged With Intending To Deliver Fentanyl: Cops

The Lincoln man was arrested at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation, police said.

LINCOLN, RI — A Lincoln man was charged with intending to deliver fentanyl, police said.

Jorge Diaz Carrasco, 37, was arrested about 5 a.m. Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, the state police said in a media release.

"The arrest is the result of search warrants executed at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation," the release said.

Carrasco was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and taken to Third District Court for an arraignment, according to the release.
