Stabbing At Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino: Cops
One man was hospitalized and another taken into custody, police said.

LINCOLN, RI — A man was stabbed at Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino Tuesday night, police said.
"This incident quickly became a multijurisdictional effort," the Lincoln Police Department said in a media release.

"With the assistance of the Rhode Island State Police, Providence Police, and Bally's Twin River Casino Security and
Surveillance teams, investigators were able t o rapidly gather information, identify the suspect, and coordinate efforts across jurisdictions," the release said. "As a result of this collective response, the suspect was located on scene and taken into custody."

The man taken into custody following the 10:30 p.m. stabbing, 27-year-old William Pona of Providence, was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at the Kent County Courthouse, according to the release.

The stabbed man was taken to a local hospital, the release said.
