Man who Shot Himself in Middletown Middle School Parking Lot on Life Support
Middletown police responded to the school on Sunday afternoon.
The man who shot himself in the parking lot at J.H. Gaudet Middle School on Sunday morning is on life support, police confirmed Tuesday.
SEE UPDATE: The victim died Monday.
Lt. Jason Ryan of Middletown police said that the victim was at the hospital after police responded to the school at around 11:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police have not released any other information about the incident, which occurred in a public area near athletic fields used by people for walking and recreation.
Ryan said the department has not completed the process of fully notifying next of kin and might release more information Wednesday.
