Where Have You Spotted Pothole Problems?

Winter weather wreaks havoc on our community in a number of ways, but potholes are definitely one of the most frustrating.

Who doesn't love driving in what feels like an off-roading adventure, bump, bump, bumping along as we cringe at what it's probably doing to our vehicle? Not fun.

As potholes continue to appear on local streets, we want your help keeping tabs on the problem. If you've spotted a particularly bad crater, share the news in the comments section so other Middletowners can be aware of where they are, and hopefully avoid them.

Note: To report a pothole problem directly, you can call the town's Department of Public Works at (401) 846-2119, or the Rhode Island Department of Transportation at 401-222-2378. And if you've suffered serious auto damage, you always can file a claim with the town or the state DOT, depending on which maintains the road.
