SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Three new coronavirus test sites are opening in Rhode Island in the coming days as case numbers soar and residents report long wait times at existing sites. Appointments will be required at all sites.

The first site, located at the parking lot of McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, will open its doors to the public Friday. It will operate seven days per week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for both symptomatic and asymptomatic testing.

The other two test sites will only offer asymptomatic testing. They will be located at South Road Elementary School in South Kingstown and the Stop & Shop in Greenville, and will open over the weekend.
