April is Dog Licensing Month in Narragansett, South Kingstown
The fee is $6 in Narragansett.

All dogs must be registered in Rhode Island in April.

ALL DOGS must be licensed during the month of April. The fee for each dog is $6.00. Puppies six months and older are required to be licensed immediately. A current rabies vaccination certificate must be presented before a license can be issued.
DOG LICENSES may be obtained in person or by mail at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 25 Fifth Avenue, Narragansett, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Every person, owning or keeping a dog not licensed and/or collared pursuant to law, will be subject to a fine of Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars. (General Laws of Rhode Island, 1956, as amended.)

KENNEL LICENSES must be applied for during the month of March. There is a twenty-five ($25.00) dollar flat fee for a kennel (thoroughbred breeding) license.
