Narragansett Man Charged With Sexual Assault: Cops
The Narragansett man was arrested at his residence, police said.
NARRAGANSETT, RI — A Narragansett man was arrested on a sexual assault charge, police said.
Joseph Garvey, 39, was arrested shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday on charges of second-degree sexual assault and simple assault, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Garvey was taken into custody at his Newport Lane home, the release said.

Garvey was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned before a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
