Bark on the Beach Fundraiser Set for Saturday in Narragansett
The fifth annual charity dog walk was postponed due to bad storms earlier this month.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story indicated that the fundraiser was on Sunday, not Saturday. We apologize for the error.
Bad weather bumped the Bark on the Beach dog walk to benefit Animal Rescue Rhode Island earlier this month. But it hasn’t stopped the dogs entirely.
The event is on for this Saturday Oct. 24 from noon to 2 p.m. at Narragansett Town Beach and it will raise money for the organization, which operates the nonprofit no-kill animal shelter in Peace Dale.

It’s the fifth annual charity dog walk held to support Animal Rescue Rhode Island and along with a lovely shoreline walk, attendees will enjoy food, music, raffle prizes and the opportunity. It won’t be so bad for the dogs, either!
Registration is $30 for adults, $25 for children 12 to 17. Kids under 12 are free.
