Narragansett Woman Stole More Than $10K Worth Of Property: Cops
The Narragansett woman also fraudulently used food stamps, police said.
NARRAGANSETT, RI — A Narragansett woman stole more than $10,000 worth of property, police said.
Francesca Sarantapoulas, 45, was arrested about 4:45 p.m. Monday on a warrant charging her with obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretenses or personation, fraudulently obtaining more than $500 in public assistance, the fraudulent use of more than $500 in food stamps and giving a false document to an agent, employee or public official, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"This arrest was a result of a Barracks and Sarantapoulas turning herself in at the Hope Valley Barracks," the release said.

Sarantapoulas was processed, arraigned and released with a Third District Court date, according to police.
