The Bomb Squad Baseball Company, the largest indoor baseball and softball training facility in the region, held its grand opening on Sunday at 1174 Kingstown Road in the Palidases Mill Complex. Upon first sight, the sprawling complex looks like it has always been there. Owner Jeff Sweenor "does everything first rate," according to program director Phil Davidson.
Davidson, who played for Tollgate High School in Warwick, North Carolina State Unversity and the Kansas City Royals minor league team, runs the facility with Steve Breitbach, head of baseball operations, who was a long time top assistant and recruiter at the University of Rhode Island.
