Local Author Glenn Morrow Book Signing at Wakefield Books, 10am to Noon, for his new novel Lighting Is Everything.

Glenn Morrow is the celebrated author of two previous works of fiction: Things Beloved and Vacation and Other Tales of Enduring Love. He has worked as a teacher, advocacy journalist, editor of Storytelling Magazine, and technical writer. He believes that fiction should be a gift that offers humor, hope, and clarity. He resides and replaces lightbulbs in North Kingstown with his wife Deborah.

Lighting Is Everything begins with a lightbulb joke. The porch bulb that Jerry and Franny are unable to reach is changed by a total stranger who proceeds to change their lives. Their quiet family home is abruptly upended and filled with movie lighting, illuminating a very different reality, with consequences both richly comic and deeply troubling. Light, in all of its manifestations, is the golden thread woven throughout that builds in emotional and spiritual resonance.
