Check Out Video From This Year's Pumpkin Launch

For $3 and a pumpkin, Carpenter's Farm became the place to be Saturday afternoon.  With a little help from Heritage Restoration in Providence, the farm field became a target range as a real, working medieval trebuchet was carted down for some November fun.  

The money made during the annual event goes toward the upkeep of the trebuchet, and proceeds from pumpkin sales went to Dave Carpenter who will donate the money to a charity of his choice.  Those who scored a direct hit won the glory and a special prize from Carpenter's Farm.

Tarbox Toyota, People's Credit Union, Belmont Market, Sweenor's Chocolates, Zero Wampum, and the Washington County Builders helped to sponsor the event as well.  Click the video to get a taste of the pumpkin-smashing goodness.
